🌿 gardening journal no. 4: year 3, spring ii
I suppose it's unofficially summer, though for accuracy, I will still say this is a spring entry.
Recently my husband informed me of our town's annual plant sale, so I had quickly swung out there last weekend and picked up the following from there as well as a nursery:
- black-eyed Susan
- strawberry roots
- Coreopsis grandiflora (Large Flower Tickseed)
- Achillea millefolium (Yarrow)
We're trying to grow more vegetables this year. I'm excited my nursery offered heirloom and vegetable plants as part of their selection this year. I picked up two cherry tomato plants, so I'm hoping we'll have a good harvest. I also was interested in some arugula seeds (which is my favorite salad plant). Just the other day, I ran out to plant some arugula seeds before it starts raining for the next four days.
